Tores Tuesday. Today’s blog will be quite short. As Christmas is approaching fast, I thought I would show an old photograph.
These soldiers are celebrating Christmas in the field. It is Christmas 103 years ago.
The sign says “Krieger Weihnachten 1917”, the Warriors Christmas 1917.
On the reverse is written “Viele grüsse aus dem felde sendet dein freund Karl”. Your friend Karl sends you many greetings from the field.
