Chris’ Curious Museum Finds #2
German Officer’s Uniform, Palestine c1916- Museum of the Great War, Meaux France
I don’t think these two items belong together, though I believe they are both privately made officers’ items intended for the Gallipoli or Palestine fronts and therefore made in khaki to the cut of the M1910 uniform. The cap seems to be for a Prussian infantry officer, while I think the tunic is for a Hessian Artillery Oberstleutnant maybe. What do you guys think?
