Infantryman from an unidentified regiment

Rui’s Renditions
Outdoors portrait of an infantryman from an unidentified regiment. Undated.
The M1909 ammunition pouches, belt, and footwear in natural color, and the M1910 Vereinfachte Feldrock might point to the spring/summer of 1915. Of note is the absence of piping on the shoulder straps and the pair of mittens.
The presence of cloth strips holding the spike top of the Überzug points to the M1892 model.
The single dark grey tone of the troddel (except for the white ‘quaste’) points to the color red which identifies the 6. Kompanie, 2. Batallion of whatever Regiment he belonged to.
*As I was unable to find a color photo of an original pair of mittens, the choice of color is speculative.
