Kaiser Wilhelm II arrival at Lisbon’s ‘Câmara Municipal’

‘Rui’s Renditions’ is on forced vacation for at least the next 2 weeks given that I hurt my left hand last week.
I leave you with this -either hand-tinted or an autochrome- photo depicting Kaiser Wilhelm II arrival at Lisbon’s ‘Câmara Municipal’ during his visit to Portugal in March 1905. Note the Portuguese officer wearing a cavalry pickelhaube.
The Kaiser is stepping out of the Crown State Carriage, later used, and for the last time, in 1957 during Queen Elizabeth II’s visit to Portugal. It can today be seen at the ‘Museu dos Coches’ in Lisbon.
